Resources / ERP readiness guide

Check whether the team can make the change.

Use this review to identify decisions that need an owner before implementation begins.

Name the business owners

Assign someone who can decide how each workflow should operate. Separate that responsibility from the technical work of configuring the system. Agree on who can accept the result.

Reserve time for the work

Data preparation, demonstrations, decisions, testing, and training need calendar time. Build that contribution into the project plan instead of assuming the team will absorb it alongside normal work.

Define an acceptable first release

List the transactions people must complete, the reports they must review, and the exceptions that cannot wait. Leave optional additions in a visible backlog so the first release has a stable boundary.
